Alone!

7:15 am

                Not sure I’ll have time to write that much as I need to leave at 8:15. But I’ve done stretches, must just feed buns, eat something or at least get something to eat on the bus, get dressed, gather everything and book. I was on the fence about it, but decided last night to just go ahead and go first to the gym. Why not, ought to just keep up with what is basically habit.

                Here is a weird thing….K has left and though he will stop by at 6 to pick something up as he goes to pick up the student at Hampshire before they head off, he has basically left for his trip. Will be gone until next Saturday morning. So here I am. I should say “we” as after all, it is me and Tigger. Oh boy. L is in her house down the road (Potwine). G by now is in Austin! She texted when she arrived last night. I hope she managed to get to the hostel. She is an hour behind, so I will wait to text her to ask.

                So wow. I should put on some loud and crazy music. Because not even our housemate is here. She is house-sitting somewhere with her boyfriend. The house to myself. Well. I will have to work at things to keep my spirits up. Boy I had a pretty hard time of it yesterday what with the fair meeting taking up basically the entire day. I felt so discouraged by the end. So after the meeting, I was so exhausted I just wanted to take a nap, but it was still light outside and I knew it would not last, so I decided to go ski instead. That was a good idea. I just walked up the hill and went into the field area, skied up and around the field and in the tree nursery a bit. It was very nice and got me a bit of exercise. Then we went to Veracruzana after for supper. Were supposed to meet L, but she was late getting back from skiing at Mt Snow (accident in Colrain). So we brought her tacos to her. And that was more or less the evening. Well I started my next hat in earnest. What I really must do is start the knit bunny that someone requested. I’ll bring the skein on the bus and wind it. I washed them Saturday and I think they are dry by now. If I have time I could even wind it with the winder – wow that would be a novel idea!

                Ok, I had better get going. tomorrow night is spinning. wonder if I can get my friend to come. I must go in to work early for a meeting (Bio 200 – I don’t want to think about it yet!). so maybe I can leave kind of early. I will get to actual work around 10, maybe I can leave earlyish today, too. Will have to get back to feed T anyway.
