Laziness

7:15 am

                Nearly forgot about spinning last night. And of course, since all my portable wheels are at school, I brought just knitting which was kind of nice anyway – no wheel to set up. I finished my latest hat there. Now I can start the knit bunny someone asked for.  I also managed to get my friend to come, so it was good to hear about all her holiday stories.

                I’m getting very lazy. It is 7:30. I will try to make the 8:15 bus. If I don’t make that, the next one is probably close to 9. If I want to meditate and stretch which the former I do want to do, the latter I feel I should, there is no way I’ll have time what with also getting dressed, feeding buns, getting food together. But I don’t feel like rushing. That will have to change soon enough once classes start. I also think I will try to leave early today. Even get home before dark. Even take Tigger for a walk? Which I have not done yet, bad me.

                I do very much like having the house to myself, but this morning I also realized that it is very nice having all that wood stacked next to the door, and that was certainly not done by me. I’m sure there are many other things, but on a cold morning like this, that one stands out.

                What else? G seems to be having a pretty good time in Austin. Sounds like it is a bit lonely, no one at the hostel is very friendly which is odd and disappointing. But the city itself is fun to explore so that is good. It does seem weird, though, having her in Austin. I am jealous kind of. Not that I want to hop on a plane anytime soon. It’s just that I dream of it so often and I would really like to just be there for a day, wander my old haunts.
