Happy Fourth (Yesterday)!

7 am

                Last day before we leave. Oh dear. I have so so very much to do, I will not list it all here as it is all listed in my journal. Mainly deal with the house to get it ready for us to be gone, also buns, and then to finish packing. And I imagine it will be another scorcher like yesterday. AND at 5 someone is coming to get bottom cage wire, AND at 6 K’s cousins are coming for supper. We will go out to the 7 Sisters which will take a chunk of time. Bad day for it but that is how it is. Tomorrow we leave at some ungodly hour like 5 am. And K did not finish packing so I guess he will do it tomorrow night, then he figures he’ll sleep on the shuttle bus to Buffalo. I guess.

                 Yesterday we rode to Belchertown, then to Stables for breakfast, then I rode to the M&M trail on 47, hiked up to the crazy tree Lucy had found, and left G’s birthday present there. Not sure when she will manage to get up there to find it, not until Sunday anyway, and maybe not then as she has been sick. Then I biked home and G was here having left work early. I tried to do things to make her feel better, mainly she just needed to sleep. She did go home late in the day and says she is going to work today. Anyway, at about 4 I had to go over to the fourth of July celebration to demo spinning as an advert for the class. It was HOT and I talked to some people but we were in a funny way out of the way place so I not that many made it over to us. I was next to the blacksmither as last time. His wife is very nice, so that was good.

                Well, no point in sitting here writing when there is so very much to do….
