Wow so
different. Home again home again as I titled the blog yesterday. Funny, just
thought that if I sit here at the computer at least it looks like I am working,
while if I bring the wheel outside as I want to do and spin, it will be that I am
just “playing.” While K is out spreading wood chips over the side yard “garden.”
Which is certainly work. I suppose bc it is not something he particularly wants
to do. I’m sure he would rather be inside at the computer.
Gone is
my lovely space and time and openness. If I were still at the farm I would
already be well into carding whatever batch was up next. So far this morning I have
started several loads of laundry, hung one out, sorted and put away one. I’m
loathe to hang out more as it is not looking especially promising drying-wise. I
hope it does not rain on us when we go for our bike ride, which will happen
around noonish. I also fed and watered buns and put some out in the grass. And I
unloaded the dishwasher. And made up a nasty ToDay ToDo list which is way too
long.
I just
did another thing on my list which was to send an email. Now I am going to suck
it up, deal with the judgment that may come, and drag the wheel outside. Do at
least a little bit of spinning. Going to do that every day……
