Exciting News!!

Here’s some exciting news: I SOLD SOMETHING ON ETSY!!!!!! I have to look more closely at the email to see which wrist warmers it is, then send it off pronto today. How terribly exciting. And someone has requested that I reserve the brown new baby bunny. Not sure how I will get it to her.
On other fibrous news, I am finally spinning the purple/brown stuff. I will take a photo.

I want to make 1 ounce skeins, so I have thought up a great technique. I am spinning one bobbin of 2 ounces. Then on the next I will spin ½ ounce bits, and separate each with some obvious bit of some other color. Then when I ply I can do each ounce separately. Much less taking on and off of bobbins this way.
And final fibrous news – I decided to try knitting the cowl for my niece using a pattern I found on Ravelry. I will have to link to the blog that has it.

  It is lacey and pretty cool. I’m afraid, though, that I’m going to have to put it aside this week while I spin and knit up some stuff for the fair in Wellesley this weekend. I hope the part for the Easy-Up tent comes in time, otherwise I’ll be doing some creative duct tape work.
