I am currently in Powell's Bookstore in Portland OR. This will be a short post, just to let all my hordes of regular readers (...) know that I still exist, but have limited internet access while on this trip to see the dd #1, my excellent college friend, and to visit Reed and Lewis & Clark with dd#2. And on top of that, my MIL is not doing well and has gone into the hospital with an inoperable gall stone and a tumor. So that may make a sudden change in plans.
Meanwhile, Powells is very nice, and we had a great hike at a place called Silver Falls.
