Blissard RIP

                Two sad things: Blizzard died yesterday, and L leaves today. It is always a sad thing when a rabbit dies, even though he was very old and I’ve been expecting that for quite a while. 

BLIZZARD

I have 2 males from Blizzard and Cream, I think now that I might keep one of them. And I might buy a new Giant. I could breed using the young male this spring, then get a new giant for summer and next year.

Went to First Person last night. Next month it will be on Tues. In fact, that means it will be on Tues for 2 months in a row. Meaning it will interfere with spinning. oh bother. and the month after that it will be Friday (I just checked!) which is hard in terms of K wanting to do something on Fridays.

                I guess today I will need to bury Blizzard. Then I’ll need to clean out his cage. I actually managed to tidy the sun room pretty well yesterday. Not perfect, but functional. In the process I somehow made a terrible mess of the kitchen table again, so I’ll need to tackle that today. I am nearly finished with the commissioned hat. Then I ought to get myself starting on that dog hair that has been sitting. My new carder seems to be best with really fine stuff, not good with long Romney, so I wonder how it would work with the dog???

                L gave me a night at Temenos. Except that I don’t know when would be best. Not before this fair meeting. And maybe not after since really I do have a lot to do. And all the financial stuff. No time for a retreat. Maybe I should wait until February. I don’t want it to just be put off and put off. I also want to get the name of that book she recommended about solitude. I should bring it, and bring A Room of One’s Own and read them. It’s just that one day seems not enough – greedy me!
