Default Evening Pages, since I did try writing Morning Pages this morning, using this (L's) computer, but then lost what I wrote. This evening I tried again and am having much better success. She said she would set up a page for me and it would not need a password, but in fact it does need a password, which threw me off quite a bit, then tonight I had the brilliant idea to click the "forgot password" button and the password clue that she apparently left was "password is jenny." Very very clever. So I got on my very own page which means any work I have I can actually save. And I have just figured out (remembered) that to copy and paste something (as in onto Blogger) I use "Command C." AND earlier I somehow figured out how to connect to the internet. She was right, it is fairly intuitive. Now I must just somehow come up with $1500 ($2000?) to get my own my very own little Apple. Well.....
So here I am, at the Farm and having an Absolutely Fabulous Time!!!!! All by myself, doing exactly what I want exactly when I want to. It is truly truly truly lovely. As expected, I have been mostly carding all day. I haven't done any blending, just making nice batts from several different bags of dyed wool. Next I need to decide how and if I am going to blend/combine things. I'm going with a green theme right now. I've been listening a lot to the radio, the fund drive, just like in past years. Kind of lame, I suppose, but the honest truth is that I like listening to it. It's basically just folks chatting away, being quite amusing, in the background while I work. I took a long walk in the woods. Well, I'll amend that. The walk was short - just up to the foundations, but then the sitting there beside the brook just thinking/meditating/doing not much was the long part. It was perfect. Now, pretty shortly I will go to bed. Maybe I'll read a bit of Mr. Sammler's Planet, though to be honest it is pretty boring. Like Hertzog was. Unlike Humboldt's Gift which was the best. I'll do more writing tomorrow.Visit my new Etsy Shop!! http://www.etsy.com/shop/twistedmysteries
