Grading and a Bad Mood (sorry)

9:30 am
Well I thought I ought to get back to my routine. I won’t be able to keep it up for many reasons – this is break, but tomorrow around noon I leave for Maine and get back on Thursday night. Then once classes start again it just is too hard to write in the morning. And the exercising was going great, but then I got so damned sick with that major fever and now a bad cough that I have kind of fallen short on that, too.
Really I feel like I need to write. But now that I am sitting at the computer it is hard. As ever, I wish I had a little laptop and could sit by the fire to write. Not outside yet as it is cold and rainy today.
Swamped. Damn. I have a page of the exam, and a full set of Independent lab reports to grade. It sucks. I worked all yesterday on the exam page. Well I will amend that: I also had to finish getting the tax stuff put together to mail to the College Board IDOC and to 2 colleges. It was a royal pain, but is now finally done. Well, that part is done. Now I must “simply” amend the FAFSA and Profile. I have nearly finished the first (hardest) question on the exam. The second one will also be hard, but not quite as, and the last should be pretty smooth. I’ll bring it up to Maine and work on it there and on the bus coming home (if I can – I really hope they do not have those stupid movies).
Today is grading, doing bunnies, then tonight I will go to bookclub even though I did not read the book. I started a different one by the same author, one the group read when I had my surgery, and I didn’t like it at all – Shadow of the wind. So maybe I’ll go late. Or go early, work at Black Sheep for a while, then go on over. Or maybe leave early. Or something. I think I will keep working on The Ambassadors  by James instead.
