Home and Babes!

8:30 am
Just back from Maine. I am not looking forward to the day, since it will mostly involve miserable grading, as will the rest of the weekend. A friend emailed saying that she would be in town working on some writing and wondering if I would like to join her. I think I will start grading here, then walk up there for a break and to keep working there. It looks like it is going to be a lovely day, so I may even be able to sit outside some.
And now I can’t think of anything to say. It was so nice to be with L in Maine and have someone to talk to! Someone who was interested and would listen. And she has interesting things to say, too.
The good part about being back – baby bunnies! Bathsheba has a litter of 8(?). Charlotte had one baby a couple of days ago, but it was dead when G found it. And now, surprisingly, Beatrix is looking very “broody.” She is carrying hay around and has made a very nice nest in her hutch area. Monday would have been 30 days, so this is 34.
I guess I’d better get going. I did very well in Maine with meditating, so I think I’ll try to continue it. And I do need to do my stretches. I’ll do a brisk exercise walk into town later.
