A Post!

I have decided to write this morning, mainly because I don’t seem to have whatever is needed to do all the other stuff I need to do: stretches, feed buns, laundry – hang up another load, start another load, empty dishwasher, and last and least in my list of desired activities: finish grading the drawings and get back to the lab reports. Ugg. I also have the radio on while I am writing which is a silly thing since it is very distracting…. Right now there is story about the horrors of Disney Princesses, which is of course kind of disturbing since it is the usual story about popular culture and how awful it is for young girls.

Ok, radio is off. Today I have an appointment with Dr. Spence and I hope to look into either increasing the Zoloft or trying a different antidepressant. I am hoping that will help with me feeling all the time grumpy. Maybe it will make me a more appealing friend, if my main goal of connecting with people is not to find someone I can vent to.

So I guess I’d really better get started. The day is going to be pretty filled up, with a haircut (wow, what’s it been, nearly a year???) and the doctor and lots of grading. I MUST finish those drawings, and I must get the labs done for next Monday. I will have time this weekend (unlike last) but I still have nearly half to go. Blah blah blah.

I also need to get nesting boxes into the cages of rabbits that are due next week. And I probably need to get more hay since the nesters will need good chunks of it. And I keep giving Bathsheba lots of hay to keep her busy so she doesn’t mess with her babies out of some sort of boredom.

Yesterday I managed to run again – I took a long hiatus due to the nasty cold I had. I can’t say it was fun, but it was kind of satisfying.
