The Dreaded Butt Burn

8 am
How strange will this be – writing MP’s at the farm in the living room with nearly everyone up and in here. I had a totally crap night for several reasons, the biggest being that I had rectal cramps all night long. And wicked butt burn. And gas that made the butt burn hurt like hell. So I would doze for a bit, have some odd dream or other (like finding 3 loose sheep running through the woods at 90 Kings Grant) then get woken up by nasty pain. So result, I had a crap (so to speak) night. Well when I got down, here was G laying on the couch with Tigger at her feet, muzzle and all. So he is fine. Except he is not at all fine. In fact he is lousy. His hind feet are barely functioning. I think K is contemplating getting wheels for his hind end. I think it is royally stupid, but I will let him do what he wants to do about it.
I managed to drag myself away and up to the woods just before the turkey finished roasting yesterday. It was LOVELY and I even wrote 2 poems, which once I get back upstairs. Remember that great idea of A Poem A Day? So much for that.
I really need to do a lot of work today. I need to review the student proposals and respond to some of them, those I did not get to meet with. And send some sort of general message about general things. I did try researching mood evaluation tests and did not get very far. It is apparently very complicated. I found a good one, it is German, but I could not find a way to score it. So I may just bite the bullet and actually read the booklet Sarah gave me for the MAACLR (?) and try to use that. Or I may decide to skip that whole idea and let her do blood pressure. I am feeling pretty ok about the urine stuff, oh, I still need to look up and research the details of how to evaluate the results.
So I guess that is a good part of what I’ll do today. I finished the angora mobias strip I was making. I have lots more knitting I could do. No one seemed very impressed with the mobias. I think my next small project will be another small scarf with a hole in one side to push a pointed end in. I should be able to do that in less than an ounce, if I knit fairly loose. I brought several skeins of the dirty fawn so I could use that.
I wonder what I should eat today. Maybe I should have just psillium all day. I wish I had oat bran or oatmeal, but I don’t think either is here.
