Plans and a Cell phone

6:45 am
Going in to work today – 10 am – to meet with the prof. I think I will actually meditate first, then figure out if I can run/bike. Leave by 9:30, bike/run for an hour takes me to 8:30, meditate takes me to 8, bunnies takes me to 7:45 which still gives an hour. Well there’s breakfast and a shower so that is til 7:15 which leaves half an hour. I did really well last night with starting on filing papers, something I have not done in more months than I can even think about. I separated out the visa bills that still need to be “split,” though the good part is that many have been (from pretty far back admittedly). I decided that I will not drive to see Mom’s financial advisor today, it is too much of a waste of time. Instead I WILL call him, if not today then tomorrow. After meeting with Prof I must get home and really focus on getting things together for the Animal Control’s inspection though I do not know what specifically she will be looking for. There is a chance that I will need to drive to Worchester area to get bottom wire, and I guess I’d better call the company this morning before I leave. But I need to hear back from a friend first to find out what size wire roll she could use because I can’t buy a whole roll of 100’ if it is only for me. And if I do need to go there, then maybe it makes sense to go see the advisor while I’m east anyway, it is not too much farther to Weston. Oh, the other thing I am going to do, I guess I’ll do it when I leave work, is to go back to Leader to buy another 2 long 2x6’s so that I can make the new bed deep enough. It means the bed will cost about $40 instead of $30. It’s a lot, but the other one was free, and this one will certainly last longer. I can keep experimenting with different styles. I did manage to wash several cages yesterday. And I moved Bathsheba officially into a different cage.
Oh, here’s some interesting news, well, interesting to some: I now have a cell phone. I am not that happy about it, what I hate is the expense, but everyone else seems to think it so funny and exciting that I am finally “normal.” I suppose the reality is that I will appreciate it. And once I get the land line turned off, the expense will about be a wash. I need to get on line with the Verizon site and figure out the billing so that I actually get the bills and can keep track of it all. The girls are supposed to pay their share, but K has never been good about all that, so I will try to manage it better.
I think I will actually meditate, then figure out the run/bike thing.
