bigger font, ok. this doesn't automatically correct all my errors which may be a problem, since they are legion. And it doesn't automatically capitalize. that's ok.
I have missed several days of running, for various reasons, but mainly due to laziness of one kind or another. i think i will bike today, but after i write.
today i must look into getting new bottom wire for my cages. i don't know if the Farmers Supply carries the 14 gage wire that i really need. Or if they can special order it. If they don't and can't I'll need to hunt about for where I can find some. And i need to figure out how to move rabbits around to spread out these fast-growing babies. I'm not ready to wean most, but i could at least gives the Moms a break during the day. I have basically given up on the grass-fed idea that i was trying with the oldest litter. in 2 weeks we'll be away and no one will be able to look after them in the grass pens, so I just decided to go ahead and start them on grain. Still something to think about and work on. Next year......
I've been knitting up some silly stuffed bunnies. They are coming out pretty well and I will definitely include them in fairs, but I also need to figure out how long it takes to make one. I sold one at the River Fest for $20, but that was way too low. and i don't know if they would sell for anything more than that. i'll try out a few. and i've thought of trying a few other, maybe simpler similar ideas. Nest big project is to spin up a bunch of the brown stuff for L to use to make some knitted pants. Her idea. And she does not mind if it is the scratchy stuff  so I think I will use the coarse Romney that I don't think I will use for anything else. That leaves the fine very dark stuff for something else. Trouble is that it takes a really long time to prepare and spin. It was the stuff I was first going to throw out, then maybe send off to be prepared, but decided I could just do it myself. I tried flick carding and combing an ounce each. They both took over 45 minutes and left me with about 1/2 ounce. and they each took close to an hour to spin (I did it really fine). I should think about charging by the yardage rather than the weight. The stuff is really lovely, a dark brown color, and maybe I could ply with angora, that would be really nice. Oh, the other project is to pull out that blue stuff and decide how to blend it for the mittens for the niece and her (now) husband. I guess I'll make up some samples and let them approve them. Next fair is Apple Harvest. then Hartsbrook and Big Brother Big Sister. Oh and Fiber Twist in between. And I think I'll send in a form to get on the waiting list for the Big E event. And if I can pull it together I'll put in an application to sell at the SPA in Feb. except that i don't know if i could do the timing. I think they require you to be there Fri. Maybe I could just say that i can't teach Fri afternoon this spring. My coworker does not need to keep that open for trips to the cape this year. We'll see. and I'd sure as hell better get going if i am going to bike.Visit my new Etsy Shop!! http://www.etsy.com/shop/twistedmysteries
