This is so not morning pages. but since I am all alone here, and feeling a tad lonely, and realize that there are a gazillion things I “should” do but don’t want to, I will write instead.
I just finished plucking three rabbits – Beatrix, Onyx, Lucky and Bavarian Cream – that makes four! Onyx and especially Lucky and B. Cream yielded a lot of fiber, Beatrix not so much. She is a very nice color, but her coat is not especially long and the fibers are kind of coarse. Maybe I’ll breed her once more to Blizzard to see if I can get another fawn with nicer hair. I do have Charlotta and Amber both of whom have very soft coats. I got a lot from BC which is nice, and no dander! The latest stuff of Blizzards that I spun up was full of dander. Most fell out with spinning, and the rest will wash out, but still. I may just decide to keep one of BC’s babies. I was kind of hoping the boy who came today to see the bunnies would take the chocolate baby, but they are not ready to actually get a rabbit. I do need to move all those boys out soon. And the girl babies.
Big major snafu today – I ordered a load of wood from Wagner and didn’t specify that it should be short. I think it is all too long for our stove!!!!! Damn damn damn. Guess I’ll have my work cut out for me (so to speak). Maybe I will drag the chop saw out with an extension cord and just chop away as it gets stacked. Or do some like that and then cut more over the summer. As if I have nothing else to do with my time…..
Speaking of which:
· Clean out the fridge
· Fix the kitchen sink faucet
· Laundry
· Enter checks and balance accounts in preparation for taxes (and FAFSA)
· Tidy
· Clean
· More laundry
· Spin
Well, maybe tonight I will do the spinning part. Hahaha. I think first I will empty the dishwasher (didn’t even list that) then check the laundry (getting the washing machine fixed is another unlisted item), feed the dog, feed and water the buns, then see what strikes me as most important or do-able after all that (take a nap!).
