Bills and Class

7:40 am

                I am sitting here by the fire which is very nice. I am tired as I was up late last night (spinning class) and had to get up early (Tigger) and though I did go back to bed (thus it no longer being early) I only kind of dozed. Class was ok. I have found that I show everyone the basics and then really they just want to go to it and be kind of left alone to spin. Last night I showed them how to card, and demo-ed the wheel, then they just did what they wanted. A few took to the wheels. Surprisingly only one student did any carding, while last year they really liked doing that. Next week I’ll bring a bunny, and I might push them a bit to try to vary the thickness of what they spin. Well anyway. And then next week I have to haul everything back home. That part I do not look forward to.

                The good thing that happened at work was that I found the Galvanic Skin Response sensor. I tried using it last night and did pretty well. I was certainly glad I found it. I only went in for a very short time yesterday. Oh, and I did decide to walk. I got as far as Hampshire. It was kind of a haul and I certainly did feel tired. I won’t do it today, but may decide to walk to Atkins tomorrow. Except that it then means I either have to walk home, or get my friend to drive me home, or get L to pick me up. L has the car today bc she has a dentist appointment (getting a root canal of all things). I invited her to join me tonight for supper to eat the steak I thawed. I intended to eat it yesterday, but never did.

                The bad thing yesterday, though bad is not really correct, more discouraging, was that I finally got going with doing the finances and man oh man there are many many credit cards that need to be split. Now that I have them on auto pay it means I never get the bill and thus don’t get the reminder to split it right then. I have months and months. I have worked through September for one bill, but that still leaves 3 months, and then there are two more. And doing them is so depressing. There is this odd payment to Ancestry.com for $70. I don’t know, and have no way to find out, if K did that intentionally or if it was one of those mistaken clicks that we got billed for. It was in August, and was for a 6 month membership, so I can’t do much about it now, except to cancel it so it does not automatically renew and recharge us. I should wait until he gets back to find out if it is something he actually uses. On the other hand… it could have been my fault, something I mistakenly did while I was looking up stuff about Martha Moody, which I was doing in August… but it is in his name and on the bill, seems like I would have used a different card. I could certainly mistakenly clicked on something, so it would be good to figure out.

                I’ll go in fairly early today, not going to the gym, just going to get some work done, try to leave not too late – I have to get back for Tigger after all.
